It seems that we have been hearing of the Katherine Heigl starrer, One For The Money for ages now. As the movie’s release date nears, the excitement among cine-goers is palpable…and with good reason as well, considering just how entertaining the movie is sure to be!

If you are wondering how I can be so sure about that? Well, considering that the film is an adaptation of one of the most captivating books from Janet Evanovich, it is sure to be a thorough entertainer. As anyone who has read the book would agree, there is nothing that one can possibly do to make such a brilliantly crafted plot boring!

As you watch One for the Money online, you are sure to find yourself falling in love with the endearing central character of the movie, Stephanie Plum, played by the vivacious Katherine Heigl. Stephanie is a typical Jersey girl, who can go a day without food, but would never step out of her home without layers of makeup. Nonetheless, she is the kind of girl one instantly warms up to, and has that special charm to her personality.

When Stephanie ends up jobless, debt-ridden, and loses her car to the debt-collectors, she still remains upbeat, and seeks solace in her job as a lingerie salesperson. Her life takes an unexpected twist, when her cousin, Vinny, offers her a job in the bail-bonding company that he works for.

Her job is that of a bounty hunter, and the man that she needs to track down is former vice cop, Joe Morelli. Desperate for some cash, and eager for the adventure that the job promises to offer, Stephanie fearlessly takes the plunge, and undertakes the mission with vengeance.

A major inspiration for Stephanie to take on the task (apart from the money involved), is the fact that the man she is hunting down is her former lover, who dumped her, leaving her sad and deeply hurt! She takes the chance as her opportunity to get back at him, and makes no qualms about the fact that she is off on a mission to avenge the pain that she underwent years ago.
