Before you dial the doctor’s number try these home remedies to ease the pain.

Do you have a toothache? Before you go to the dentist and get a complete checkup done and he hands you an astronomical bill, try this well known grandma’s remedy-chew a clove slowly so that the juice penetrates the affected area slowly. Cloves are considered as a great remedy for tooth problems and have been used to treat tooth problems since ancient times.

Clove contains a compound called eugenol that soothes inflammation of the nerves in the dental region. The tooth hurts because there is an inflammation so eventually you will have to see a dentist.

Have you just recovered from a bout of jaundice? Eat radish or drink radish juice to flush out toxins from the system. Radishes are considered a boon for the liver and have been used to strengthen the liver since ages. Radish is a rich source of sulphur so it increases the flow of bile and improves digestion.

Are you a person who suffers from insomnia? Today due to our highly stressed life style the complete nation suffers from this disease. Here are two simple remedies to put you in deep slumber: blend a cup of warm milk with 4-5 dates and a pinch of cinnamon powder. Sip at bedtime and watch yourself relax.

Another remedy uses massage as a relaxant. Apply warm oil like sesame on the palm and soles of your feet that should soothe any frayed nerves.

The weather changes and you start having a bout of cold, cough and flu. Mix a little bit of ginger juice with honey, have this 3 times a day and watch that cough disappear.

Muscular pains can be quiet painful as the literally and figuratively make you useless. You are unable to do any work. A quick home remedy is to apply a paste of warm mustard oil, turmeric and salt, apply this to the painful joint and leave it for a couple of hours. Turmeric works as a great antiseptic.

If you are faced with any of the above problems try the above remedies and watch the problems disappear without incurring a huge bill.
