The machinery under the hood remains pretty similar to other BlackBerry smart phones and not much has changed. The OS focuses mostly on email and the screens as well as on-board memory are way to less when compared to the iPhone. The focus largely remains as a business phone and the desktop like features including chat, document management and the trademark QWERTY keypad put the BlackBerry Storm 9530 somewhere on the top of the heap when it comes to smart phones.
You might smart a bit with the pricing of this smart phone but if bought on a plan, it can be quite an affordable piece of very useful office automation equipment. However, if it is looks and style that drives you, then the BlackBerry Storm would need a significant face lift to be able to compete with the other good looking alternatives in smart phones (read the iPhone).
