twilight-410-largeEverytime, whenever i see my friends getting attached, i kind of get envious of them. Whenever, i watch love story movies like “twilight”, i will be inspired but at the same time depressed with myself. Then i will ask myself these questions, “Why i can’t get a girlfriend?, is there something wrong with me? Why girls don’t like me?” Am i destined to be alone?

I am a 20 year old dude, currently serving the nation service. Well, you see, i am a dork! I enjoy doing stuffs that most people might not do so. For example, i would rather rent a dvd and watch at home rather than to go the theatres to catch a movie with my friends or hanging out shopping. But however, i am not as “anti-social” as what you guys might think i am. I still go out with my friends, i socialise fairly well and i don’t have any problems with my friends in school. As for looks, i am not handsome, just a fairly normal singapore guy that you can find on the steets.

Ok, here’s come the really tough question (for guys) that i am pondering about. Experts are welcome to advise. How do you guys get your girlfriends? How do you start? Not to be shy, i have absolutely zero experience in starting or engaging in a relationship and don’t really have a date before. Ok, i wasted 4 years of my youth in secondary school and 3 years in polytechnic without leaving much memories like going to prom etc etc.

Do you guys think like a girl ? Know what she wants? Know which topic to talk about? which not to?

For girls, what do you look for when getting your boyfriend? How do you fall in love with a guy? Why? Are looks important? I know that if i ask this questions to the public, the answer will be “No, definitely not, looks ain’t important!” But stop faking around, we all know that looks definitely play a part. Do you woo your guys? Or vice versa? we know that girls are pretty proactive than most of the guys nowadays .

meganne_forbes_sacred_relationships27Also, i am not a talented guy, i don’t really have much skills, like singing, sports etc. Do girls like guys with high confidence? I see some of my friend’s boyfriends who are damn “zhuai”. Does being “zhuai” equals to having high confidence?

Yea, that’s all about it. I hope this post will benefit those who are like “me” with the advices and tips given by our fellow singaporeans. Please feedback under the comments! :)

My suggestion, just confess to the girl you like. Even if she rejected you, you can start showing your love to her. One day, she’ll be yours.

Unless there’s “Chemistry”… No amount of effort can succeed with that 1st date…

girls don’t actually like “zhuai” guys. personally i find them super turn-off.

    a quiet confidence is good.

different girls look out for different things; just be yourself and show your feelings to the girl u like.

start talking to her slowly and get to know her and her likes/dislikes etc. get her msn, slowly progress frm chats to phonecalls to dates etc lo.

    good luck! :)

It is not difficult to get a girlfriend, it is getting a matching one who you would be comfortable with. And I do think looks are very important, but the person’s inner character too. Just keep looking and I am sure you will find one.

To be honest… it is not really that hard..

depending on what kind of girl also..

i would say.. just be a man not not be a wimp… confess to her like a man.. talk t o her like a man.. be confident… and of course let her know you are thinking of her for the lamest reason…

but if u are rejected… well move on… theres always a better one waiting for you right at the next corner.

I suggest you watch the movie “Don Juan de Marco”. It might help you find a lot of girlfriend.
