An oil surveyor, Gary Ng, had a secret hobby few knew about. He caused a stir among netizens when 33 of his self-made sex videos were found on several video streaming sites. The women, 22 of them according to local daily Lianhe Wanbao, are from all walks of life. Ng titled his videos according to his partner’s profile, for example ‘Gary Ng vs. Friend’s niece’ and ‘Gary Ng vs. Chua Chu Kang girl’.

Ng promoted the sex videos on several forums frequented by Singaporeans, linking his posts to the videos and describing the sexual encounters. On the forums, some netizens dubbed him as Singapore’s Edison Chen.

The Chinese-Canadian actor, Chen, was involved in a sex scandal last year when videos and photos of him having sex with Hong Kong actresses were leaked on the internet.

Some netizens on the forums also criticised him and replied negatively to his actions. The videos suggested that they were being recorded from a high point or hidden location in the room. Ng admitted that he taped “most of the women” without their permission. Ng had since removed the videos from the video streaming sites but later posted them on his blog, according to an interview by the local tabloid, The New Paper.

Producing, making and propagating obscene films is a criminal offence under the law, but Ng showed no remorse in doing so. Ng claimed that his past three consecutive relationships failed because his girlfriends cheated on him by sleeping with other men. His way of getting back at them, it seemed, was to drink, go clubbing and get to know women at clubs. Within a year, he claimed to have had sex with more than 50 women.

Ng replied when asked that if he or his sex partners could be recognised in the sex videos. Ng said that he cared for their future as there are many who are high-flying executives and students.
