Could you divide the vast population of this world into just twelve zodiac signs? Seems confusing and makes you wonder are there just twelve types in individuals? If one was to go by the astrologers, you would have to believe this. Today I watched a movie called, What’s your Rashee? (Zodiac sign) This was an Indian film; the protagonist played here by Herman Baweja, a NRI boy is searching for a bride as he has to marry in 10 days to rescue his family from financial ruin. It is a difficult task to select and marry a girl in 10 days so he decides to meet 12 girls each representing a different zodiac sign, now whom he eventually marries would be revealing the plot, but it was a nice light hearted romantic comedy and perhaps takes a jibe at all those people who believe too much in zodiac signs.

This brings us back to our basic question; can the vast humanity be divided into zodiac signs? What about animals? Anybody who has kept a pet knows that different pets show different behaviour; does this mean that even they can be grouped into zodiac signs? If anybody has read Linda Goodman’s book, Love Signs, they would know that she says that some sun signs make the best love matches, has anybody experienced that? My sun sign is Leo and as per Linda Goodman’s Love Signs my best match would be from the fire and air signs like Aries, Leos and Sagittarius or Gemini, Libra or Aquarius. I never get along with any of these sun signs at least not in a romantic way. I’m either not interested in them or I just don’t get along! So how relevant are sun signs?

I recall as a youngster I had read and reread Linda Goodman’s book Sun Signs many times but I have never found people adhering to any particular sun sign, so please write in with your observations, do you really think people exhibit the traits of their sun sign?
