Loading ...As most of you probably know, selling sex online is an act that is prohibited in singapore. To even sell sex, you need to go through a series of paper work , take a series of medical checkup to be legally licensed. This is singapore that we are talking about! Frankly, i am amazed by the number of sex related issues happening in singapore in the recent years. Seems that this buzz has been increasing and increasing as years past on. The NYP Tammy’s incident, the gary ng incident, and now the selling sex issue. That you know what, all of this main “actors” & “actresses” are young! Ranging from 18 years old to 20 years old. What is the youngsters thinking about?
Ok, back to this main issue on selling sex on internet. For those of you who might not know. Today asiaone reported that one girl ( 18 years old ) is openly selling sex in one local adult forum, offering her sex services for $150 per hour. She said that she’s in need of an urgent cash of $16, 000 to pay for her school fees and asked for those “BROTHERS” in the forum to help her out. Is she really in need of money? Or is she trying to seek attention from the public? If she’s the latter, i think she is jolly well ruining her reputation. If she is really in need of money, why can’t she choose other methods of making money? Loaning from bank? Apply scholarships? Borrowing from friends and relatives? Well, there’s many ways on how you can make money, why did she choose to offer sex? If you ask for my opinion, i will say she’s seeking out public attention. Didn’t they know that they can face charges from the police? Not only will not be able to continue her studies, she’s destroying her future? Won’t the school expelled her?
Ok, there are also cases of selling sex incidents that i heard about and those women deserve our respect. Have you seen the movie or read the novel called blindess? It’s about the world being infected by a virus that caused blindness. Those that are infected are quarantined in one building. It all happens in the building where a group of 8 ladies volunteering have sex ( blackmailed ) with a group of bad guys in return for food for their friends and husbands. Food is limited. Sadly, the rations are controlled by the bad guys because they are armed.

The way I see it is like this; it is her life and her body what she choises to do with it is her business. I was told once, “the best way to get rich is to find out what you like doing anf get others to pay you for it!” The problem is that even into day world many think sex is still a dirty thing and selling your body is the lowest thing you can do.
People judge others by their standards and they very between everyone. If we pay more attrention ot our own lives and not others this world might be a nice place. As long as no one is hurt in the process let them do what they want and prostitution is one area were I feel we need to just let them alone.
Everyone knows the rick it is a personal choice if you wish to go with any other person, you now not only hookers have VD don’t you? what about that person you picked up in the bar or at a party and had sex with, do you know here they have been? I think not!
But this is jusy my opinion, i’m sure not not many share it with me!
